You wrote a commentary on the Gita some time ago, but stopped almost immediately. Since then, you have also given a wonderful speech on the Gita. Both made me feel that you have much more to say about the text.
I have always felt that the Gita deserves to be approached not merely as a religious scripture, but as a profound work of thought that can be read from many different perspectives. Your way of looking at Indian philosophical texts, and your ability to connect them with contemporary life, would make a full commentary especially valuable.
So I am hoping that you will return to the Gita and write a complete commentary someday. I know it would be a major undertaking, but I also feel that it is a work only someone with your long engagement with Indian thought and literature can undertake in your own way.
