Dear Jeyamohan,
The discourse about the need for Western philosophy between Ajithan and GSSV Naveen is sharp and useful. I initially listened to it casually, but then I became stuck at one point. Ajithan says defining ‘what is philosophy’ is a major philosophical question, like explaining what poetry is a major subject in poetry. It is indeed a surprising and thought-provoking idea. I am engrossed by the depth of that conversation. Thank you.
