Dear Jeyamohan,
I used to watch your videos on Indian philosophy. You assert that we should learn Indian philosophy using the teaching methods of Western philosophy. I don’t understand why we should adopt those methods for understanding our wisdom and philosophy. Indian philosophy is not just knowledge; it encompasses vision, wisdom, and a way of life. We need our system of practice while learning Indian philosophy.
The term “Indian philosophy” is misleading. It is not merely philosophy; it represents Hindu wisdom or the Hindu way of life. It is also referred to as “sampradaya” or “achara.” Understanding these concepts is essential for grasping our tradition. We must learn from our masters in our own way. I do not support your perspective on Western philosophy. Western philosophy is rooted in materialism and is filled with questions and confusion. In contrast, Indian philosophy offers clarity and guidance for life.
That’s why we must learn from our sages and masters, not from pseudo-philosophers like you.
Thank you.
M.R. Srinivas
Dear Srinivas,
Thank you, sir.
You seem to be living in a private world of your own. I hope you find happiness there.
