Dear Arun,
I am one of the worshipers of the guru. I am not the guru and am not going to be one in my life. I am a humble follower of the revered sage Vyasa and wrote a book on his way. So I have a qualification to sit at his feet as a student.
On that day I will be in Europe on a trip. I will participate through the web, if possible. Guru Soundar will conduct the event, which will include music, art, and a discussion on Venmurasu.
I expect my friends and readers to celebrate the day as Gurupurnima—Venmurasu Day. They can visit Vellimalai for the event. Or they can celebrate it at their homes; they can read Venmurasu on that day. It is enough.
