When I look around today, I see a great deal of activity and endless pursuits, yet very little interest in intellectual or spiritual exploration. Many young people spend more than twenty years working hard to earn educational qualifications and secure a respectable place in society. Once they achieve these goals, many feel that the rest of life should be devoted solely to enjoyment. Unfortunately, “enjoyment” often comes to mean activities that demand little thought or inner growth. As a result, they drift from one form of consumption and entertainment to another, both mentally and physically.
In such a time, your efforts to inspire people towards intellectual inquiry and spiritual seeking are truly meaningful. What is even more remarkable is that you have succeeded in attracting a considerable number of young people to this path. That gives me hope.
