I watched the video about creative children. As a creator yourself, your desire to raise your own children as creators and thinkers is something very rare in the Tamil cultural context. Most Tamil writers seem to think that their children should not even be introduced to literature; instead, they raise them primarily for careers and business, and feel happy if they attain social status. In such a situation, it is extremely rare for someone to find joy and fulfillment simply because their son or daughter has become a writer. People here are unable to understand that.
You gave your children a life that suited their creative minds. You are making an effort to provide them with the platforms they deserve. At the same time, what is important is that they are talented enough that such efforts are hardly necessary.
I have been reading Ajithan’s stories and essays, and I attend his philosophy classes. My assessment is that he possesses an intellectual sharpness that surpasses even yours by a step. I sincerely hope that he becomes internationally recognized and that he receives the opportunities needed to achieve that.
