Dear Jeyamohan Sir and the Unified Wisdom team,
I’m 40 years old, married with two kids, and I’ve been living here in France for the past 20 years. For the last two years, I’ve been regularly watching your YouTube videos, and they have truly made a huge impact on me.
To be honest, I’ve reached a point where I feel completely worn out by corporate life and the daily routine. I’ve been trying to find some deeper meaning on my own by reading books like Roots and Wolf Totem, but I feel a strong need for real guidance. I want to learn about our arts, philosophy, and spirituality, and I really wish to learn them from a master like you.
What you mentioned about Guru Nitya Chaitanya Yati’s vision of “Unified Wisdom”—connecting arts, philosophy, and spirituality together—is exactly what I am looking for.
I know your classes are strictly offline and follow a simple, traditional gurukula system. I have absolutely no issues with that—in fact, I prefer it. Since I live in France, I want to plan ahead so I can travel down and dedicate my full time to these sessions.
Could you please let me know how I can register for the upcoming basic classes and what the schedule looks like?
Thank you so much for your time and for everything you do.
Respectfully,
M
Dear M,
Our programs are now being conducted in Europe. I have sent you the link. You are welcome to attend and see for yourself what takes place. If you find them meaningful, you may continue by participating in our future programs. All our programs are conducted in person; we do not hold any online sessions.
I can understand your state of mind. The excessive workload imposed by today’s corporate environment and the exhaustion that inevitably follows are subjects I have been speaking about continuously.
There are people who, at the peak of this exhaustion, decide that they no longer need anything and declare that they are going to live a simple life. But it is not as easy as it sounds. Those who still seek comfort, convenience, or recognition in that “other” life cannot sustain it. Most people make such a decision in a moment of fatigue, only to return later to the same cycle of work.
Therefore, what is truly needed is either to take periodic breaks while remaining within corporate life, or to create an inner, private space of renewal within that very life of work. If someone who works intensely in the corporate world also has a world of music, or an active engagement with literature, it can become a source of genuine rejuvenation.
Our training programs are intended to introduce such possibilities. By receiving the basic training, practising these disciplines repeatedly, and gradually making them a part of everyday life, one can attain a sense of freedom through them. In other words, liberation can be achieved through action itself. What we offer is only an introduction to these fields of practice.
Here, you will also meet others who are in a similar frame of mind. However, your relationship with them should remain within the sphere of these creative pursuits alone. If you allow it to develop into personal emotional entanglements, it is likely to lead only to another set of life’s complications.
With this clarity, you can involve yourself in these activities.
J
