You are continuously encouraging youngsters to read and write. In today’s environment, reading is considered a waste of time. Some scholars used to say that reading is unnecessary in this era because today’s modern communication methods have improved a lot. You are also using modern communication methods to share your ideas. I think reading is an over rated habit.

I think we are using the word “scholar” in different meanings. As far as I understand, no real scholar says reading is outdated. Maybe you found your scholar in your own media.
