Dear Jeyamohan,
I was listening to your small speech on the importance of learning sculpture and literature at Bhakti Marga. I too had that doubt for a long time, whether learning makes us intellectual and thus diminishes our bhakti. I dont want to lose my devotion because it saved me from a lot of miseries in my personal life. But then i undesrand learning art and poetry is not an intellectual thing, it is actually mellowing down our stiffness of brain and makes us more devotional.
