At the field, while working with an ambition, you should not worry about the ends. You cannot predict the outcome, as it is determined by millions of possible combinations, which some may refer to as fate, God, or other interpretations.
We have to work with passion, and we derive pleasure from the thought, “What we can do is done by us.” It is the only happiness a human being has in this life. Nothing more.
This is the message of the Gita, which I adore as the greatest guidebook for any activity—from earthly karmas to divine dharmas.
