About the UK trip- Gopi

Dear J,

Hope you are looking forward to your UK trip. I would have loved to join you or atleast meet you at this time but fate seems to have different plans for me. Just today my wife gave birth to baby boy  and there isn’t anyone to assist us with initial few weeks, so it’ll just be us both and 2 kids to deal with and this  happens to coincide with your visit period, so the chances of meeting you this time is quite close to impossible. It would have been great to meet you in person and thank you for all that you have given me through your fiction / writings.
If not for your writings esp. Venmurasu it would not have been possible to see the errors of my ways and come to terms with my place in the society and limits of my ability to influence things, people and events. I was so lost and in strange place when it came to me and now there is about of clarity that eludes me at times but your videos, blogs and writings acts as anchoring points to keep me stable and sensible..
I was mentally preparing a list of book shops to visit with you when you come to London should your time permit. There are lots of them in London, two that you shouldn’t miss are Foyles near charring  cross or Waterstones near picadilly circus and daunt books. I am sure you’ll enjoy them as it’s a bibiliophies version of slice of heaven.
Wishing you wonderful trip and it’ll be great to see and savour Lake District through your eyes and words.
With Love
Gopi
