Philosophical Discourses

I follow your videos on a regular basis. They keep invoking in me a lot of questions. I cannot read philosophy books in detail. According to what I’ve read, they didn’t directly answer my questions. Philosophical questions differ from my personal ones. But these videos contain ideas that hit me directly. I keep thinking about many things. Why don’t you publish detailed texts?

Dear Sudha

The only method of study for philosophy is in the classroom. Direct class. A teacher guides you as you sit in a private, natural setting. Without the forest environment, there can be no philosophical education. The course may include a variety of conversations.

There is no easy path to philosophy. You must pursue it, rejecting certain things and accumulating others. Those who are incapable of letting go of other things and pursuing philosophy should not pursue it. People who have a deep quest for philosophy should pursue it. It is sufficient that only a small percentage of people in society receive a philosophical education.

These talks are not philosophical discourses. They are just introductory brain teasers. What you have achieved today is just a matter of philosophical interest. These discussions have infused your mind with a few philosophical inquiries and philosophical principles. The philosophy begins here. It is a life-long journey.
