A Rare Opportunity

Hello Jay Mohan,

I saw your videos about Indian philosophy on your site. It’s not very common in India to learn about Indian philosophy, especially Hindu philosophy. We have two types of schooling here. One way is to learn traditional wisdom from groups like mutts and religious groups, which have their own ways of doing things, rituals, and beliefs. A modern person can’t bow to a monk and live like a feudal lord. Another option is to learn it in college. However, it is very hard to get a real philosophical education from a modern school because there aren’t always good teachers. They are just workers who will have to follow the same schedule every day. You can learn about philosophy and get help with it, but you can’t learn philosophical wisdom from them. So, a modern school in India with a good curriculum and system is a rare chance. I was excited to find out that you also teach English while I was watching your videos. I want to take one of your classes soon, but I live a long way from where you are.
