People frequently asked me, “How many hours do you work a day?”
I would naturally respond, “Usually, it takes 15 hours.And that too with full concentration.
The next question is, “Do you sleep at all?”
My answer is, “I get eight hours of excellent sleep a day. I work because I sleep. I would never entrust any work to someone who doesn’t sleep well.”
After a deep silence, the next question arose, “How do you manage to sleep like that?”
People close to me will also ask the same question. “How do you fall asleep just by lying down?”
The answer is the same. “I know how to control my mind. I am not someone who practices yoga extensively. However, this is the primary advantage of the practice I have honed over the past 35 years.
Today’s life is suffocating and distracting us. Today’s media, such as television, cinema, and the Internet, primarily rely on advertising. Advertisements constantly strive to capture our attention, cause disruption, and instill a sense of urgency and greed in us. So we become unstable and agitated. To put it another way, the design of today’s world intentionally disrupts us. Today, the media industry has grown significantly. All forms of media collectively divert our attention. They have caused our inner selves to become less focused and more fluid.
In today’s environment, achieving anything on any platform requires the ability to organize and concentrate the mind. This requires the practice of observing the mind. Those who observe and manage the mind can control it. We combined yoga and meditation practices with our philosophical and literary practices in response to the persistent questions on this platform.
