Learning without politics

As you explained in this talk, distancing politics from philosophy and aesthetics is the major issue today. A few days ago, a famous spiritual leader, who is the head of an age-old institution, came to our city to deliver a sermon. His talk was filled with political anecdotes, and it was practically an apolitical harangue. I was literally appalled by that impudence. Almost all religious orators solely discuss politics or delve into mundane matters. I asked one of my senior relatives about the speech of the so-called seer, ‘Is there no role of liberation in religion anymore?’ He can’t even understand it. Everything was corrupted, and nobody knew that they were corrupted. Avoiding politics is the only way to learn real philosophy and aesthetics. Thank you for this enjoyable talk.
