Skill training classes?

Dear J,

The classes you conduct in the program “unified wisdom” are very necessary in today’s business environment. There are many problems that arise in corporate offices because this kind of training is not available here. For example, you provide training for debate and argument. Most of our people here do not know how to talk in a common discussion. They used to talk about whatever they wanted; they do not care about the premise. They do not follow any logic. There is no one in educational institutions who can teach this.

Similarly, the skill of delivering a seven-minute speech remains unknown to the modern business environment. The practice of reading books and texts deeply is also essential. All these skills are crucial for career advancement in today’s workforce. You can come to offices and teach these.

Senthilkumar Seerangan

Dear Senthilkumar,

I am not a skill trainer. I am a film writer who earns twice what your company CEO earns, at one-tenth of his effort. I do not need money from teaching. I do not intend to develop anyone’s business career. My classes aim to gradually build an intellectual movement here. My target is young people who can contribute to the intellectual field in the future. That is why I conduct these classes for free; we fix payments only for food and stay.

All the teachers here are experts in their respective fields. But they come and teach for free. For example, Mariraj is an important medical expert in Tamil Nadu, but he conducts an introduction to medicine for three days without any remuneration. To conduct the same class in your office, you will have to pay him a few lakhs.

A common idealism is what makes every one of us work like this. If you put a monetary value on this, you will have to spend huge amounts as fee. Usually our people do not realize the worth of this now. Hope they will in future.
