Emburan!

Dear writer Jeyamohan,

Emburan film is the talk of the town.Usually antihero film characters become successful in cinema box offices. The perversion in the  human beings reflect in these kind of mass hero films. When hindi  films like Don, Deewar became successful, Amithab Batchen was celebrated throughout our country.

The subdued mind wants to see a projected image on the silver screen. That’s how Rajinikanth become a celebrity. M.G.R’s screen personality was diffrent. He had carefully chosen his characters and songs which made him a mass hero. The anti hero, Thatha characters still rule the film kingdom throughout our lives.Because psychologically we need an outlet to bring out our suppressed emotions through these heros.

In real life situations we  can see a lame man satiate his inability by watching these movies. Utopia is a human dream world from time memorial, So do these heros. In novels, dramas and films.A kind of hallucination is inevitable in a world which is full of struggles and chaos. Even in myths and epics we celebrate super human characters to stand for justice, whereas we find challenges to fight against  social injustices in real world.

Super heroes in films are a matter of  entertainment and enjoyment. Nothing serious about it.A part of art and craft too.
