The guru and the teacher

Dear Jeyamohan

It is interesting to listen to your explanation about the difference between the two ways of education that prevailed in our country. One is traditionalist, like giving a sermon. The method of education in that way of teaching is not so important; the personality of the teacher is more important. Whereas in the modern way of education, the methodology is more important; the person is just a careerist and executor of that method. We can say that there is a third way of education. We have to create a new way, a system where objective methodology and the ‘guru personality’ are combined and presented as a personalized education.
