Dear Jeyamohan,
In your short speech, you discussed the works of K.R. Meera and Perumal Murugan. I share similar sentiments about these kinds of writings. They feel flat and lacking depth. Their political content is simplistic, often derived from newspaper articles. I find their works extremely boring and, in fact, I am irritated to see them celebrated by certain institutional circles as literary achievements.
