About current politics

Dear Jeyamohan,

I was watching your three separate speeches about the micro-political approach, which is mandatory for a writer. I was actually thinking about it myself. By entering into the current political debates and taking sides in them, a writer is actually accepting the current political ideas and believing that a change between them is sufficient for people. A writer must envision a future and strive to achieve it; if they accept the current state of affairs, they are merely confining themselves to the present. It is against the very idea of creative writing and creative thought. Recently our writers are in this trap.
