When Jeyamohan completed writing Venmurasu, he announced that the day would henceforth be celebrated as Venmurasu Day. Since then, the full moon day of the Tamil month of Vaikasi has been observed as Venmurasu Day. Across India, this full moon—known as Guru Purnima or Vyasa Purnima—is traditionally celebrated as a day to honour one’s teacher.
Presented here is the video of Jeyamohan’s lecture and interaction, delivered from London on that occasion.
On the same day, a Guru Purnima gathering was also held at Vellimalai as an in-person celebration. The event was organised by friends Krishnan and Cuddalore Seenu, coordinated by Andiyur Mani, and led by Guru Soundar.
