Dear Sir,
Every morning I walk 40 to 50 minutes. During that time, I listen to your speeches on YouTube. It makes me learn new things every day .
Recently, I listened to your talk about scientists and literature. You talked about how Dawkins was inspired by Wagner, Einstein statue in Princeton had a childlike quality. Also, how Japan and Korea are trying to implement education with knowledge, dreams, and intuition, and America has lost that in 70s.Indian scientists mostly take the beaten path and write papers to get promotion, etc. Fair enough, I would agree on that.
My question is about Ramanujam, CV Raman, how did they get inspired? I especially would like hear your take on Ramanujam who is an enigmatic figure.
If possible, please reply.
Thanking you.

Dear Sir,
A few days ago, I was at your hospital for a heart check. Happy to hear a word from you.
My speeches under the unified wisdom title are not complete discourses; they are a kind of brain teasers, raising valid questions and sometimes sharp ideas. I want to urge the listener to think in their own way. I am delighted to hear that they have inspired you.
I always insist there are three ways of knowing the universe and life: intuition, imagination, and logic. Our modern education is based solely on logic, and we are increasingly insistent on it. Therefore, we are losing other faculties. While logic is objective and serves as the foundation for all learning, the loss of other faculties undoubtedly hinders our progress in intellectual pursuits and science. Knowing this, the education systems in Europe and the USA are now focusing on imaginative education, particularly promoting the reading of fiction and philosophy. However, in India, there is a noticeable shift away from imagination and reading. This is the point I am making.
I understand your point, sir. Ramanujam, or Einstien, possessed a profound intuition that bordered on mysticism. Geneiouses have no rule or system. They are phinominons; they happen once in a while. We cannot establish rules based on these phenomena, nor can we attempt to understand the human mind through them. They are not general examples. Their mind is mirouclously pointed, and they have the immeasurable power of attention and memory. Some of them simply dream and create new ideas based on their visions. Some possess an entire logical system that surpasses our general logical system.
However, as a general rule, intuition is a result of logic and imagination. It’s a leap after a swift sprint, with logic or imagination serving as the runway. Everyone of us has an element of intuition in our faculty; as a doctor, you may well be aware of it. Intuition, which transcends logic, constantly aids experts like you in discovering new things. This must also be the focus of a modern educational system. We must create ample space for imagination and intuition in our education and daily lives. For that , reading, especially literature and philosophy, is critical.
Thank you sir. I delayed my reply because I was on a trekking trip and unavailable for communication.
