I saw the Insta post of Padma Lakshmi on your short story collection Stories Of The True by FSG publications. It is indeed a good opening for Tamil writing in world literature. Our younger generation has to read these stories; in fact,these stories are an excellent introduction for foreign-born Indian kids to understand Indian life and culture. Its positive and negative aspects are brilliantly introduced in these stories. Therefore, an introduction through an idol of modern American culture like Padma Lakshmi is more important than any article or review in a fine literary magazine. I appreciate Padma’s views on this book.
