A Land for Buddha is a beautiful little text. The line stating that Buddha descended from the Himalayas and returned to the mountains struck me profoundly. We encounter countless texts, yet there is always something entirely new to discover. I had never considered Buddha as being from Nepal; indeed, his face must have resembled that of a mountain. When I saw Buddha in Ladakh, I felt that the surroundings had shaped his visage. That place is also stunning.
