Dear Jeyamohan,
I have been following your videos regularly. I felt a sense of displeasure when you began posting a series of political videos on Facebook. I wondered if those videos truly warranted such attention, given that everyone is constantly talking about politics. Nowadays, neither supporting nor opposing a political stance seems to hold much value.
People are constantly discussing every conceivable angle of politics. Tamil television channels discuss politics twenty-four hours a day. With so much discussion, there is hardly anything left to say; whatever is said inevitably becomes a mere continuation or repetition of what has already been voiced. That is why I generally do not pay attention to politics. My policy is to look at political matters only after five days have passed; I feel that a topic is truly significant only if it retains its value after that interval.
I had been hoping for videos from you that explored subjects beyond politics. Seeing you discuss politics caused me some dismay. However, as I continued to watch, I realised that you treated those videos merely as a brief interlude or a way to draw attention, rather than making it a sustained practice. I found that to be an excellent approach.
I believe that these videos should transcend politics and focus solely on philosophy, literature, and art. My heartfelt best wishes for the continued release of your videos.
