Dear Jeyamohan,
I was watching your speech about the classes you are conducting and what you are teaching there. You are teaching spirituality rather than religion, and idealism rather than ideology. There is a tremendous difference between these things.
I am happy to see the clarity you have developed on these subjects. We have ideologies everywhere, but very little idealism. We have religions and beliefs everywhere, but very little genuine spirituality.
Idealism and spirituality are abstract and deeply personal. Yet, we must teach and nurture them constantly if we are to resist religious fundamentalism and ideological blindness.
