Dear Jeyamohan,
The small speech about the scales of life is crucial to me. I have been actively seeking a meaningful life for the past few months. I know I can’t live without money and a job. I am not going to give up anything. But actually the problem is we are deeply immersed in a mad race of social status, which is entirely based on money and consumerism. For example, we have to own a car if we want to show ourselves as an affluent middle-class family. A car actually means that we have to spend at least Rs 30000 per month. An iPhone works for three years, which means Rs 3000 per month. Like this, we are locked in life and actually spending our entire life for just a show. W We have to fix our lives’ scales; we have to measure our happiness and fulfillment ourselves.
