Dear Jeyamohan
I saw your excellent small article on the east-west meeting point of philosophy. I have been teaching this in my classes for the past few years; we can only teach eastern philosophy through western epistemology. The Indian philosophical tradition has no defined and common epistemological system. In contrast, our ontological system is robust and clearly defined. Our modern education today is entirely based on western epistemology, so we cannot learn anything new without it. Adopting Western epistemology to learn Indian axiology is the proper way of education. Thank you for the excellent article.
