According to my experience, people who don’t understand poetry take spirituality very lightly. Their spirituality is either a worldly bargain or a ferocious faith. Poetry is another form of spirituality. All of the gods are poetic images. The revelations of the sages about the gods are also pure poetry. Without poetry, God cannot be known.
