Dear Jeyamohan,
I am listening to your talks on various subjects. The talk about reading habits is very useful. I am in a profession in which I have to read at least 50 pages daily. I mean books, not just documents. But I can’t read because my mind is not focusing on the letters.
Once I was an avid reader; I used to read 200 pages daily. Now I am struggling to read for my essential qualification. I think the majority of the people in our age are actually in this condition.
The analogy you gave is very apt. Reading is like cycling; we have to train ourselves, and the motor is our body itself. If we stop for some time, we can’t ride anymore.
