Dear Jayamohan
The Young Advaita
At the gates of Indian philosophy
Both the articles on Advaita and philosophical education are excellent. Concise and yet comprehensible to new readers
Within seven hundred words all the pages of Advaita were covered. One can see at a glance the compromises reached by Advaita over a thousand and one hundred years.
What you say is true. What is needed today is an intelligent Advaita. We must learn and speak pure philosophy. Everything is pulled by ritualism and religion. There is nothing we can do about it. But there must be another side here. Otherwise we have lost our intellectual base
But here anything is linked to religion to get popular support. Funds will arrive. Pure philosophy has no support. That’s why even organizations that started out as purely philosophical principles tend to turn towards worship little by little
