Dear Jeyamohan,
I believe that philosophy can lead us to laziness and loneliness. It provides us with a holistic view of existence, and in the end, life holds no significance. The ‘darsan’ of Sunya is the core of any philosophy. Therefore, teaching philosophy to young people is not beneficial. Only ignorance can bring us real happiness.

Dear Arulanand,
There is no such thing as philosophy; there are thousands of ideas about life and the logics that support them. We call it collectively philosophy. There is nothing in common between those ideas. Some ideas are skeptical and negative. Some are positive and optimistic. We can choose to embrace one of these perspectives as our way of living.
Ignorance never brings happiness; it will bring only anxiety and despair. Ignorance prevents us from holding strong ideas and maintaining intellectual stability. We will always be indecisive and uncertain. Philosophy gives us the certainty of our view points through necessary logic.
