The two videos on Vedas and Sanskrit are intriguing and profound. For more than two thousand years, vedhas have been mystified. To maintain that mysticism, they were kept secret from others.
Many think that they were hidden from non-brahmins; they were actually hidden from brahmins also. Not every brahmin can learn Vedas. Only a select few possess the right to learn the Vedas. Their family tradition allowed them to learn some of it. There are chathurvedis, but they usually avoid the Atharva Veda. They learn only some part of it. Therefore, no one in all of India fully understood the Vedas. Even so, they are not allowed to understand their meaning.
Practically speaking, since the arrival of Indologists, the Vedas have been completely hidden. The Vedas, like roots under the soil, exist and sprout, yet remain invisible to the naked eye. To understand the spirituality of Hinduism and study its philosophy, one has to remove the mysticism around the Vedas. He must overcome the illusions that Vedic tradition and non-vedic tradition have created about the Vedas.
