Dear J
I have been taking yoga classes for the past eight years. I am thinking of attending this yoga class again. Not exactly for the yoga class. Let’s assume that the class serves the purpose of bringing friends together. I think doing yoga classes together is very exciting and beneficial.

Dear Deivanayagam,
I believe it is crucial and beneficial for individuals who have already engaged in yoga exercises to return to these sessions.
Because
1. These events are a form of collective gathering. You meet people who have the same thoughts and mindset as you. You spend three days surrounded by nature. The freedom and fulfillment it provides are very important. It meets the criteria for a wonderful vacation too—it comes at a very affordable cost.
In general, we don’t regularly perform yoga exercises. We used to stop doing it very often. Such collective exercises will ensure that we practice yoga continuously. If we have already stopped, we will restart from the beginning.
3. Other yoga training programs solely focus on teaching physical exercises. There is no in-depth, intellectual teaching of the philosophical underpinnings of yoga exercises and their physical conditions. Here, students receive both practice and wisdom from qualified teachers who have extensive training and teaching experience.
